Nick is the practice group leader of our workplace relations and employment law practice.
Nick has extensive experience in matters before the Australian Industrial Relations Commission, State and Federal Courts and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. He advises on:
- Industrial disputation and strategy.
- Terminations of employment.
- Redundancies.
- Outsourcing.
- Transmission of business.
- Contracts of employment.
- Employment policies and matters.
- Workplace discrimination and harassment.
- Restraints of trade.
As well as acting for Australian based government and corporate organisations, Nick has been an external consultant to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Geneva.
Prior to joining DLA Phillips Fox, Nick worked as an industrial relations practitioner for several organisations and regularly appeared before industrial tribunals.
Nick is on the editorial panel of the national monthly briefing, in-house counsel.
